ASL Pasta Instructions
ASL Pasta Instructions:
Cook 6 minutes in gently boiling water (salt optional), until tender but firm (al dente).
Serves 4 as an entree, and serves 6-8 as a side dish.
A cool fact: If you get cheaper pasta, it will often become sticky while cooking. Often you would have to add oil or salt to the boiling water to ensure that it's not sticking. With our ASL pasta, oil and/or salt is not needed. Your ASL pasta will not stick if you stir occasionally!
Old-Fashioned Mac & Cheese Instructions:
-
3/4 cup milk (any milk, we used plant based)
-
2 tbsp heavy cream (optional)
-
1 tbsp butter (any butter, we used kerrygold)
Make the cheese sauce by adding 3/4 cup milk, 2 tbsp heavy cream (optional), and 1 tbsp butter to the pot with cheese powder. Heat and stir until it becomes a sauce. Add cooked ASL pasta to the pot and combine.
Sprinkle this mix or make a sauce and add to ASL pasta, french fries, popcorn, pretzels, baked potatoes, veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, etc), burgers, casseroles, nachos, garlic bread, etc! Endless possibilities!
